Fun in the Sun

We (mom, me, Cordel, Tyllan, Jacob, C.J., and Hannah) went to Lava Hot Springs a couple weekends ago and had a blast! Cordel went crazy once he got used to the water, jumpin off the side into our arms and going down the slide. The 2 oldest boys had a blast jumpin off the diving board. I got this great shot of Jacob jumpin off the side and making a big splash! Although we had to cut our trip a little short because Cordel fell off the slide (6 feet on his head onto the concrete-yes he's fine), we had a really good time.

I just made this page today and I think it turned out pretty dang cute. I found these pictures of my kids and just new they had to be on a scrapbook page soon. The pictures were taken of each of my babies at age 2 weeks and they are complete mirrors of each other with their arms and the way they are facing. AND they are wearing the exact same nightgown (handed down to my daughter from my son)!

Cordel was always giving "baby sister" loves when I was pregnant. My mom got this picture of him hugging my big belly. I was about 8 1/2 months pregnant with Sydnie.

The Infamous Artist

I know the journaling is hard to read, but it basically tells the story about Codel coloring on our brand new leather couch and loveseat with a ball point pen. And when I say brand new, I mean we had had the set less that 3 weeks! And when I say "coloring", I mean huge circular scribbles on 3 of the five seat cushions. (it's kinda hard to see in the pictures) I was beside myself when it happened, but we got over it, as parents do. And it made for a great scrapbook page!

Wedding Album

Here are a few pages from a 8x8 wedding album I am making for a cousin who is getting married. I think it's turning out pretty cute! I hope they like it. I'm mostly using a scrapin' kit, which makes it so easy!! It feels good to actually scrapbook again! I haven't done a whole lot since I had the baby!

My Scrapin Friends

Here are two of my friends that I scrapbook the most with. We all had kids within 4 months of each other, and so now our kids are all friends. It's great! That's basically when we all started scrapbooking too. Both of them are members of my scrapbooking club and we always have a really good time!
